The hinges are stainless steel with technopolymer profiles and belt-strap loops. The cases come equipped with matching lock cylinders and a third matching lock cylinder for mounting a separate top case.

They are compatible with the tubular side-case holders KL, KLR, KLO, and KLOR. An ergonomic handle is integrated into the lid hinge, opposite the cases opening and release mechanism.

The strength and structure of the hinge allow the lid to be opened completely without the use of straps or retention cables, which could produce a guillotine effect.

Four belt-strap loops are integrated into the structure of the lid, set into the contoured lid to give an elegant shape to the whole case.

Made in Italy. For its cases, KAPPA guarantees a degree of water resistance equivalent to heavy rain.

In particular, cases are tested with a special machine that simulates rain with a flow rate of 20 ltr/min.
